TO DEVS: Remove 2 Minute Kick Out during the 3 minute wait on the Match Wait phase

Why are we being kicked out for waiting and and doing nothing when the match has not really started yet?

You set a 3 minute match wait phase but kick people out if they don't jump or move around during that time where they can go nowhere...

start the kick out timer after the engage, but not before that.

I was thinking about this yesterday. It happens so often that people get kicked as soon as the match starts who might just be alt-tabbed until it begins.

Yeah this doesn't make any sense. Have at least a 5 min timer, like any other duty, and after it engages. Very annoying specially with the long Q times to see players drop when the match hasn't even started yet.

Atleast implement an annoying noise like they did for DF when u are close to be kicked.

Also I would greatly appreciate that you shoul be able to talk with your FC or linkshell ultil the match didn't start, a lot of time during late night I have to play with a 5-6 man party even if I know that in my pvp LS there are people that will istantly Join in progress if they know that there are spots.

2 mins before kick is fine imo. Perhaps wait 1 minute into the match though. You know, during the 2 min prep, wait 1 min in before it actually counts as idle time.

I have also commenced a match -> go off do something else -> alt+tab back in match just to get kicked after 1 second -> facepalm as I remember the 2 min kick rule.

Otherwise during the match, if you're afking, you're not really playing. Perhaps when boringly defending a node no one will attack, EVER, it's ok to grab drink.

Hey sup guys furst post soo id like to help out..if u que in and hafta go afk for couple min..for me i jus /autorun towRds a wall soo when ur bak..ur still runnin towards wall and not kicked ... I do This for washroom breaks

Keeps people active for when the game starts. Players being afk 1 minute into the start can have a negative impact on the match. Simple solution, go poop before you queue.

And potentially miss the queue I've been waiting over 30 minutes for? No thanks.

Personally, I'm always active in the pre-match setup. If we don't have healers(/have inactive healers), I put up protect and stoneskin on the party. If we have active healers, I put stoneskin on the pets. If the pets have stoneskin, I find the pets in the other parties and put stoneskin on them. With my abilities, I can always find something to do, but not every class is like that. I don't think a DPS should get punished for getting up to get a drink, when their being at the keyboard for the opening two minutes doesn't affect the match in any way, shape or form.
