Have you tried using a gamepad? I don't have MS, but I have my own issues that make playing with a keyboard and mouse extremely difficult- my hands tremble too, my fingers and arms will cramp extremely easily and I have to stop every 15-20 mins to massage them and keep a heatbag nearby. Im prone to making many mistakes with keyboard/mouse these days that I never used to when I was younger but Im able to play just fine with gamepad. Im regularly topping dps, MT in events and solo healed plenty of things in 2.0-3.0. There was no way I would have been able to do that if I played with a keyboard.

If you havent tried it, I know a lot of mmo's have really awful gamepad setups, but XIV's is great and easy to use. Like I said I don't have MS so maybe my experiences would be a lot different to your's, but its worth a try.

Yeah, controller helps since you're only using your index fingers and thumbs. With some in game macro rigging you can even squeeze in more than 4 gcd rotations into just the face buttons without sacrificing the ability to queue them. This is me doing the old drg rotation without including the ogcds with my thumb held on the R trigger and the skills/setbar automatically changing based on what I pressed. Could still apply to non combo classes, I think.

This game lets you do anything you want, so you don't have to do dungeons if you don't want. I'm sure with enough practice you could do tanking. PLD is very beefy and would probably be the easiest for you to get a hold of, as long as you have a patient group(run with your FC members ).

Just practice, more confidence in battle is good. I personally like to solo FATEs to practice my tanking survivability, it is a bit harder in the new world stuff though.

Keep doing the things in game that you enjoy. I am glad the game offers you enough entertainment away from dungeon ,.combat. Don't let anyone tell you to do something you don't enjoy. A whole lot of people in this game like to tell others how to play/enjoy it and that is wrong. Luckily there are good FCs out there to help you out with any content you need. None of this makes you a crap player.

I also agree with what others have said and do not say you are crap. You would be surprised by how many actual awful players are out there and have no dissabilities.
Scholar would for certain be a good fit for you i think and you could make macros for it

Wait a minute...if you have all that, then how/why are you playing a summoner? Isn't that an additional hotbar?

I can understand your frustration. I don't have MS, but I am blind in one eye and very nearsighted in the other. This means I have the depth perception of a shoe and also that it's sometimes hard to gauge distances and such. I get told that I'm worthless, that I should just uninstall this game and go back to playing "Barbie Horse Adventures" and other such nonsense.

I look at it like it's their problem and not mine. I'm relying a lot on muscle memory and once I learn a fight, I'll never forget it. But there's no need to be so toxic. People seem to forget that we've got players here of all types and backgrounds who are dealing with their own "battles" beyond the game.
