What I said is, opening a thread stating that you are "crap" because you have an illness is clearly an attention grabbing thread. Period.
Feel free to play the game, but please do not be hypocritical. Bad is bad, no two ways around it. Still want to play? No one is stopping you. But I am not going to lie and just hide my head under the sand by saying "Oh no, please don't say such things, you are good!"

OP says he/she is "crap"? Fine, then. Crap it is. Who am I to disagree? If he/she is the first one to think like that, then I am going to think the same.

It's better than being an ass on the internet to unlucky strangers.

I find those things to be on the same level.

It is much better (and harder, in my opinion) to be completely honest and logical with everyone.

Fair is fair. Fake compassion in order to be socially accepted / feel superior compared to the "rude Internet masses" is not something I desire to show or receive.

If the person asks for a "logical and honest" answer then by all means but not everyone wants to hear it. There's a time and place but some things you should keep to yourself.

How in the world is stating that "I am crap" a positive attitude?

Also, funnily enough, I manage and have managed teams of people both in games and in real life. No brick wall ever hit me. People who start by saying that "they are crap" do not make good team players at all, usually.

My name is Joxer TheMighty in game.

I was born with Polio effecting both legs, my left arm, and my eyesight. Like a past person who posted, I lack depth perception.

Who am I in the game? I am usually your tank. The only guff I ever get if from younger folks who seem to have disabilities worse than I (ADHD and Turrets)

Look past your disability or work with it. I can attest to your only limitation being those you set up yourself.

I appreciate the fact that you choose to continue to play the game and enjoy it for what it's worth despite having Multiple Sclerosis. You're not a "terrible player" by any means. Society, generally speaking, faults what they don't understand, and that doesn't make you a crap player. Also being open about it, especially on an internet forum, takes a lot of strength, so I respect that. Although I'm on a different server, I would still dungeon with you and I'm glad people have been nice about it.

My brother had Duchesne's MD, he was very limited with his movements but he could rock a controller pretty well. He had a very hard time with PC games until we found a controller that worked for him. If you get in a FC try using voice chat if your speech is not impaired, there are a lot of things people can help you with, such as clearing the content for the story. It is very simple as in not complex but FFXIV can severely punish mistakes.y friends and I would really challenge ourselves to get my lil bro through content so he could see more of the games we played, and a lot of it he did without us. Its a great challenge for skilled players, and it lets you learn how you yourself can overcome some of the limitations that MS has thrown at you. I have dyspraxia, I cannot remember rotations, player wise or boss wise so I really have to hone my reflexes to react to something before I can even think about it. There are many limits for many people, it just a matter of finding ways to break them, even if it means learning something in and out so much so you start to do the"thing" before the duty gives you the cue, so if you flub in coordination a bit you have time to make up.
