Dye Question

I like the gear customization part, making it better for a certain class and whatnot. I don't think that should be tied to dyes/gear color, though. I hope the split those aspects in the future...and bring back the pink.

Though i really love the point of having different stats on same gear if dyed, i am with you guys, color is for customization, not for stats. Buuut, at the same time i hope it stays, as i love the stats :P

Yea I love the idea, not the implementation. Hopefully they can separate stats and color for extreme customization.

Just curious if people are having an easier time dyeing gear with mg craft or craftsmanship sets. I did a couple with my regular craft set and almost botched all the synths. I don't have a lot of dye so I am hesitant to experiment.

Adding my own +1 to this as I am irritated with the dying system - not only for the different stat bonuses but the fact that dying a piece of gear now limits who can wear it. You want a cotton coif? Fine. Oh, you want it green? Well you better be a gatherer then, because now it's REQUIRED. So bogus...
