I want to try a DPS class

Only at endgame content...and after 60 levels, you better at least know a standard rotation from 2.0, considering how many hours that you spend just to get to 60. The new skills...I admit they really change things up for all DPS classes with the exception of MNK (which still uses the standard 2.0 rotation, excluding off cooldown moves).

A lot of people FATE grind, and would have already had gear from other content, so they would be fresh into 50+.
