    Housing Available?

Just wondering is there any housing available anywhere? And how much is it? Trying to find a good way to make money besides crafting and playing the market. When i played ffxi i would look up things i could farm to sell on AH but this game is different. I really want to buy a house but idk how to make more money Help Plz

You can look up prices of any item on the ingame market board, including a recent transaction history of each. You can see what sells high, often, and with stability.
As for housing, that's per server, so I couldn't tell you what's on Midgardsormr. Hyperion has been out of houses for months!

    Yeah they're quite expensive.
And that's just for the land. You gotta pay for a house on top of that.

It's generally something FC's as a group pay for. Though there are ways of making gil solo as well. You just gotta find your market!

Its just me and my fiance on my FC and i wanted a house just for me and him but the price is outrageous, i have noticed doin the Msq is getting me good money but i like to have a backup plan cause you always run out of quests. Didnt know if anyone had a suggestion, i used to garden on ffxi but now i cant do that unless i have a house lol

Take up a job such as mining. I think it's the most profitable way to earn gil as there's very little investment you need to give it, other than time.
Plunk our rocks and sell them. The higher level stuff, heck even the mid level stuff sells really nicely. Lots of crafters are lazy and simply buy the materials they need instead of gathering them themselves. So if you have 99 silver ore, and someones looking to make silver, hardsilver, ingots, etc, they may just buy your stack!

Once you're comfortable with that, then perhaps take up a craft, such as blacksmith or armourer, or goldsmithing. You can use your own materials and make stuff worth a lot more.
Don't forget about your retainer. Assign them a gathering job and they can grab materials for you when you're feeling lazy yourself.

You will get all crafts to 60 anyways, if you want to make the highest profit.
It is a long time goal, but crafting is the best way to make money in here.. and clear selling (to crafters xD).
