Population of Coeurl

Hello hello everyone, good to see some faces that I still recognize in this server still! How's the player population in Coeurl nowadays? Just curious since servers are down at this time, and I haven't wandered into this forum until now .

Using the 3 categories I have to judge by..linkshell log in's are low but deleted characters have slowed. Mor dhona traffic minimal, however the new hub of Idyllshire is quite busy. Housing community is mostly empty ghost town.

Over all I say the numbers are holding steady since heavens ward launch. The bad part? 90% of us are in heavens ward and at endgame, again.
Leaving the other 10% left wandering the empty world of eorzea alone. Seeing one of us old timers wandering around must be like sighting a unicorn

Housing is not dead lol. What are you smokeing! The server is very active a lot more then most. Ay sure it not a big server but big servers a full of Bad know it all players that just QQ 24/7.. Our EU player base is low so you won't see much going on at that time but Pst/est afternoons are biz ^_^

For a medium population server, I'd like to say it's fairly active. On peak times you can get quick queue's when logging in but aside from that no issues. Plenty of people to do content with but only a handful have mentioned they've cleared AS1/2.

O.o my house is in ul'dah just outside the central court on the first ward. Mostly people who were from the beginning of 2.0 built there. >_> so yes my housing district is lonely

Coeurl has grown in population since Heavensward, which was to be expected. Mor Dhona has a few people derping about, but that's because everyone resides in Idyllshire/3.0 areas now. Idyllshire can get pretty packed. Quite a few people in the new areas doing FATEs, quests, etc. PF isn't as big as Gilgamesh or Leviathan, usually maxing at around 12-13 PFs when I've noticed, but nbd. I'd say Coeurl is a medium-large server, but the line is barely even scraping large status if that makes any sense. It doesn't touch that sort of server pop. yet, but probably can in the future. For now, it's medium but a big medium. Bigger than in the 2.x days thats for sure.

People are pretty kind of you're kind back, as with everywhere else. Only a handful of groups have cleared A1-2S, with like 2 on A3S. Ask for help, network with the people you knew/new people, and all should be okay! ^^

I honestly wouldn't say large at all. There are so few groups and players doing end game raiding, it has been very difficult to fill static slots. If anyone was considering endgame raiding I would say Coeurl is a very bad option.

The reason why no one's available to fill in rolls is because a lot of players already have statics. And I would also take into account actual player skill and the rate at which content is cleared on this server.

I think Coeurl is doing quite well. I can't speak for other housing zones, but I know the Ward 4 Plot 5 area of the Goblet is plenty active and every time I teleport to our FC house I see people from 3-5 different FCs all hanging out/crafting at the nearby marketboard. Endgame in Coeurl, imo, is going to pick up big time over the next few weeks/months as more people get geared enough to be able to handle the content. I'm very proud of the groups that we as a server have working on A2 and A3 Savage right now. I see plenty more groups currently on their way there. The Coeurl Progression Thread is, naturally, not reporting the many statics I personally know of that are trying their best to clear this relatively cutting edge content while simultaneously giving tryouts to 1-2+ new members each raid night as they try to find a proper fit for their overall group's skill level. Once we all get our groups ironed out I foresee quite a few new groups adding their names to the list.
