After completing the Trial of the Braves books with G'jusana in Revanants Toll with my free company doing undersized party runs with me to do the dungeon portions quickly I returned to Hyrstmill via teleport to Fallgourd Float (now no longer in a party) and ran with my chocobo to Jalzahn to proceed to the next part of my relic weapon quest but the quest bubble above him remains red.

When speaking to him it tells me I need to have my Animus weapon equipped, the problem is that after completing the Trials of the Braves (all of them, G'jusana won't sell me anymore and says I've cleared her out) and returned to North Shroud the weapon did not turn into the Animus and remains in its Atma form.

The weapon in question is the SMN Wiyu Atma that is supposed to turn into the Animus upon returning to North Shroud after doing the Trials.

I do have a 2nd relic weapon at the collecting atma stage on my SCH, the step before the Trials books. Would this have effected it maybe?

I have exited game and returned, I have tried switching weapons, and even changing class but the red bubble stays and the weapon does not upgrade to the Animus.

I have attempted to get it to work by returning to G'jusana and destroying the last book to get a new one but she will not give me a new one for the SMN relic and states I have cleaned her out when I try.

The book is 100% repaired and only at 6% spritbond. (Screenshot taken before repair but repair didn't fix the problem)

During the beginning of the Trials I switched to SCH and began working on that relic as well, got it as far as the atma collection stage (not as far as the trials of the braves) and upon researching this error it appears it is unique to the SMN and SCH books being done at the same time. The other person had the same issue when trying to do both SMN and SCH books at the same time. But as far as I can see their problem was ignored.

To test this theory I destroyed my SCH relic book but Jalzahn continues to not let me hand in the quest.

Talking to G'jusana I get the prompt to return to Hyrstmill and talk to Jalzahn but talking to Jalzahn he has a red quest marker and tells me to have the animus weapon equipped. I have attached two screenshots to prove I have completed the trials and that I have the weapon equipped while talking to Jalzahn.







I did all my Trials books over the span of about 4 days, some as unsynced parties.

What more information do you need? This is everything!

Take a closer look at the dialogue options he has...may be overlooking something? I forget the dialogue flow... but for some stages you have to pick to enhance your weapon to advance it to the next phase.

You have to go back to Jalzahn and do the "Relic Weapon Atma Enhancement". After a short cutscene (like with the original relic) you get a shiney Animus weapon. Paladin's shield counts as an Animus for the achievement, so you can get it after only 2 books. Album: http://imgur.com/a/7kSaa#0
