    Language?

    As I have wandered around Eorzea, I have noticed that all of the signage is in English, though written in the Eorzean font. With a few moments, I can usually puzzle out what any particular sign says.

    This morning, I found myself wondering: I have the English version of the game software installed. If I had, say, the German version, would the signage all be in German but using the Eorzean font? If not, what does that say about the language actually used in Eorzea?

    Well, I have the french version installed, and it's also in english with the Eorzean font. So, no, it doesn't change anything. I guess the main language in Eorzea is English, curiously. uou

    (something like the al bhed from FFX would be interesting)

    The "Eorzean" language is, in essence, just english. If you play the game using JP client the sign that says "No Entry" will still say that. I believe the Void Eye loremaster himself has said in the past that Eorzean=English, which makes a lot of sense
