Well, this community isn't actually that bad (especially when you compare to almost every other MMO on the market) Whenever I get a bad egg in my party I just laugh at their stupidity, I mean...if they're like that here they surely must be a bitter, angry person in real life too.

The community IS bad. I'm told my DPS is bad, but I'm usually the target of a mob/boss when the main tank die. Then they said it's because I crit a lot. Then they say my numbers SHOULD be higher. It's the reason now why I'm a casual and no longer hardcore. I just do a few dungeons and log off.

The community here is the same as any other mmo that has a multi server DF system. The anonymity that DF provides gives a liscense to people for general asshat behavior. Other mmo's you can put the person on ignore and never get partied with them again. Not sure if that's the same with FF or not.

Sadly a few players putting the "asshat" on ignore wouldn't make a dent in the "asshat's" queue, since the tools pool people from multiple servers together.

Afaik it isn't, you just dont hear from them. Plus since its multi server the chance of you meeting them is reduced enough that the blacklist is better used for people on the same server.
