Let us change our eye color *without* Fantasia

Highly doubt they're going to go back and change this. Fantasia is too profitable.

Blame the players who begged SE to cash shop it. SE was contemplating eye color changes being at the Aesthetician, but players were begging for Fantasia around the same time, so go figure they made the decision they made.

fantasia really should be for race/ sex change only.

all other customizations should be ingame...no bizarre 4 star craft alc. remedy either .... errr just let us change at the aesthetician plz

I'd love for them to do it, especially since au ra can change their imbral eye color ... how is that even possible lore-wise?

But it's not gonna happen considering that they seem set in making small tweaks part of Fantasia:

"A: In addition to hairstyle, you can also change your hair color, eyebrows, face paint, face paint color, facial hair, scars, tattoos, and tattoo color. We're still discussing if skin and eye color should be customizable."

Obviously they decided no on both counts. It would be nice though.

This is asking for too much. At least for the aesthetician to be able to change your eye/skin colour. Sure he can simply give you eye contacts but that's not practical considering that the aesthetician can add a full length of hair on a clean shaven head, trim, and paint your face. Skin color....wat

I do however agree on an alchemy recipe or even a Gold Saucer medicine you could drink to be able to change your eyes/skin.
However, for it to make sense it would have to be extremely hard to get(MGP cost, recipe difficulty, material rarity). If it's something just handed to you then it would defeat the purpose of FFXIV being an MMO and SE making money off of Phantasias. It would absolutely have to be borderline impossible to get if you guys want this change for free.

Lest we all change our eye colours everyday in the week and paint them the colours of a rainbow.

I agree for the eye colour change. I understand if they would not implement it.
On PS3 when I made my character I never noticed, or it never had the option to have different coloured eyes.
I only ever saw the option when I tried to make a 2nd character on PS4.

I think it's a bit odd that race and sex changes cost the same as a simple eye colour change, muscle gain, a tan and a boob job. It would be nice if we could change everything except race and sex with gil, perhaps with a higher price. The Aetherochemical Research Facility probably has some kind of elixirs cooked up and they could be sold by those robot balls in Azys Lla for 50k-100k gil.
