    Truthfully, I could get behind the idea of CU granting both Dsect and Nsect effects at same time regardless of sect you are currently in.

    CU seems to work fine for me; pop Luminous Aether, use Aspected Benefic and Helios and then shield the tank. Three HoTs and he's good to go. At the end of 18 seconds, you have more MP than when you started with. It's great.

    What about a channelled ability that you can drop when you want to stop channelling it? Dropping it would most likely have to weaken the effect, but it could be interesting.

    That's 18 seconds of standing around with one's thumb buried in one's orifice of choice, being unable to buff, dodge, or DPS. This skill is sadly not great.

    IMO it just needs to be worth channeling.

    What if instead of healing in diurnal, it increased all healing received by those within the field by x%? Assume 100% just for the concept:

    A short channel could be done before/after raid dmg, to increase the effect of succor/cure III etc.

    Use it / Stand still 4 seconds / Move / Reuse it immeditaly with no CD but with a 14 seconds instead... and so on until it reaches 0, then have it on cooldown. I wouldn't mind a longer cooldown, as in 3 minutes instead of 1,30min as a counterpart.
    I think it would get more use if the cooldown wasn't so harsh. I dont really like the idea of being able to move and use it or using it, cancelling it and using it again. Just my two gil tho....

    I just wish there were more uses for Sacred Soil and CU.

    I would prefer they combine the effects or make something entirely unique for ast as it stands diurnal is almost ok
    Because of its increased potency but noct is a bottom of the Barrel ability

    If we went the unique route I'd still opt for aoe thrill of battle when you enter the buff and either random card effect or a new card effect on all players that enter. Keep channeling would be fine in this situation. Basically start channel and people enter for buff and can continue playing. Also a mini mp Regens as a side effect would be amazing.
