    I really would love to see those 18 seconds usable multiple times.

    As it is now, I find it really disturbing to use it, stand still for 3 or 4 seconds and have to move e duto mechanics. And lose everything you haven't used until the CD is up again.

    I would love to see the skill that way :

    Use it / Stand still 4 seconds / Move / Reuse it immeditaly with no CD but with a 14 seconds instead... and so on until it reaches 0, then have it on cooldown. I wouldn't mind a longer cooldown, as in 3 minutes instead of 1,30min as a counterpart.

    All that needs to happen with cu is that we can drop it and keep moving.

    The fact that we have the worst field effect and we can't do anything else while it's active is just so, so dumb.

    If it's going to stay as awful as it is now they could at least remove the channel and just make it an AoE that sticks around us for 15 seconds.

    I'm pretty sure I've only used it when I'm too lazy to cast Aspected Helios after a raid-wide hit so I just stand there with my CU on instead.

    Noooo I love channelled skills. I wish this game had more of them. Just needs the ability to be worth channelling.

    If it doesn't increase DPS or if it doesn't heal as well as Helios then it's not worth channeling.

    I agree it's cool by having it's own way of being active instead of the regular point and click AoE. Maybe to make up for this shortcoming give players who enter the AoE a buff of some kind.

    Diurnal effect gives players a regen with the 150 potency while under the dome, but if they leave they switch to a 100 potency regen for the remaining duration.
    Nocturnal effect gives players, under the dome the same 10% damage reduction; if they exit the dome, switches to 7 for the remainder of the duration.

    Something like that.

    Hence, why I said the ability needs to be worth channeling?

    I mean it's not bad atm, the regen is very noticeable and good for something that doesn't cost any MP. I do wish the noct stance version did more than 10% though.

    Sad truth is that almost nothing could be worth channeling since there are always useful actions the AST could otherwise be performing.

    I'd rather see a powerful effect with the trade off of a few seconds of animation lock (similar to LB, but not as exaggerated) so that the flavor could be kept, but its utility expanded beyond "nothing better to do while boss jumps" or "out of MP."

    It's really hard to make a channeled spell like this work on a healer class. At least with the current range it has. If it was a medica II sized radius it could work well as is in diurnal (maybe slightly more potency, but not sure if that would be necessary). Basically it would be like a Druid's Tranquility from WoW. Though noct stance would need a change beyond radius if it remains a channeled spell. Maybe double its effect.

    Tbh, I think the easiest solution would be to just let you drop the bubble ala Destiny.

    It would be; I think that it would be a mild slap to WHMs, though, since CU in Diurnal would simply become a much stronger Asylum (in Noct it would be a "free" Soil, but that a very situational ability regardless).

    I'd personally rather that CU be somehow unique to ASTs since so much of their healing kit is already copy->paste from WHM and SCH.
