Barbershop

This seems to have fallen off the radar of the new development team completely. It is not in the change notes; the old team promised one however the new team has never even made mention. I know there are many things that need to be addressed more than a barbershop but I do believe many people still want this in the game eventually. Who’s with me?

Also as far as the barber shop features I would like to see it as customizable as possible. Hair Color/ Hair Style / Facial Hair/ Facial Hair Color. Opening anything else up like skin tone, eye color, face style, eye shape, nose style, mouth style or a complete character redesign would be a plus although that should be a paid service or limited in some manner to not allow switching all the time. Anyhow post something hear if you want to see this feature implemented eventually.

Fallen off the radar because its currently not that important. This would be nice idea in the future sure but right now they have far bigger issues.

This would be a nice feature. A lot of people get tired of their character after a while and want to change things up a bit, this would only be a plus IMO.

Not an important feature, but something people might enjoy. Wouldn't have to be implemented anytime soon but at some point in the future, after combat/quests/maps etc are done.

I would love a barber shop. I have second thought about the way my characters looks, would be nice to be able to change things a lit (i know it's just hair and facial hair that can be changed)

I think it would be a great idea! It would be a great way to let SE introduce new hair styles, colors, tatoos etc w/o everyone who is already playing the game feeling left out.

Agreed, I doubt the lack of barbers will be the straw the breaks the gamers back on this. The team has bigger fish to fry to get the monthly fees, after all. I see this feature involving Crysta though, once everything else is in place.

I've wanted and suggested a barber shop in ffxi (now ffxiv) since even before WoW added theirs. Barber shops are a great way to add hair styles and colors.

Also each town should have one and low level character should be free (1-4) then you start paying higher the lvl more is charged. This would help the econamy out since it will be a fun money sink.

stuff to change at the barber shop
1 hair style
2 hair color
3 (for men) facial hair
4(for men facial hair color
5 eye color
6 features (scars tattoos etc)

a full character remake with possible race switch is a bonus in my eyes.
can be $10 per 90 days. (if WoW can do this and have it be cross faction it should wwork in ffxi)

just because other stuff needs to be fixed, don't mean we can't have a nice discussion about it. SE wants anything that we will like and have fun with. It also majes community look much better if we are having positive discussions instead of negetive debates. Like other topics just because you hate them in past mmo.

I'd love this feature. FFXIV was less customizable than I thought so I was pretty disappointed while making my character back in September. Hence why this feature would make me happy. Course they are so busy fixing other things, this has probably become something at the very bottom of the list. (If they even remember).
