Nothing said, it's a surprise but I hope it'll turn out to be one of those butterfly that you fight during Ravana, just big and maybe purple.

I know it has been probably asked before a thousand times but when can we expect this patch to land?
Patches are usually every 3-4 months I think. Probably late November/early December, though I suspect we'll get an official ETA during the preview that's supposed to happen on the Gamescom stream.
That part about the new 24 player raid sounds alot like the airship exploration stuff they have talked about. I sure hope they aren't planning to lock the 24 man raid behind FC airships. The way it's described there also makes it sound possibly open world meaning no df either. Have to wait and see but that sounds terrible for the crystal tower replacement if true. The complete opposite kind of content for the type of players that did CT.Just saw this today from link.

Not sure how legit it is, assuming the article interviewed Yoshi-P himself or not, but if this is what's in the works, sounds quite exciting. The second part about the GC new feature didn't state if it'll be in 3.1 or not, so don't hold your breath.
For the Gnath flying mount, yeah, a butterfly would make sense, or maybe an oversized damselfly, or a mantis or wamoura? They don't have anything mount-like inside the hive -- yet. When the other beast tribes got dailies, there were new elements added to the hostile bases, so perhaps a new mob type will end up the basis of their mount.
Yoshi said in either a live letter or interview that it was going to be longer in between patches this time to give his team a break after Heavensward. I think this was another reason SE staggered release of Alexander, Alexander Savage, and Scrips - to make the gap in between content patches not seem as long.
Should be a giant version of the butterflies summoned by Ravana. For the Gnath flying mount, yeah, a butterfly would make sense, or maybe an oversized damselfly, or a mantis or wamoura? I found this. Hoping it legit. http://www.siliconera.com/2015/08/25...rmous-airship/
