Just saw this today from link.

"A new 24-person raid, of the same size of The Crystal Tower, will be added in the 3.1 update. It's not like a normal raid. You use airships and you can visit floating islands and explore them once you land. Anyone can join in, so long as you don't exceed the 24-person limit.

"We're also working on something for the Grand Companies which allows you to hire NPCs to your army, which is a new element that we think will expand your options within the game."

Not sure how legit it is, assuming the article interviewed Yoshi-P himself or not, but if this is what's in the works, sounds quite exciting. The second part about the GC new feature didn't state if it'll be in 3.1 or not, so don't hold your breath.

That part about the new 24 player raid sounds alot like the airship exploration stuff they have talked about. I sure hope they aren't planning to lock the 24 man raid behind FC airships. The way it's described there also makes it sound possibly open world meaning no df either. Have to wait and see but that sounds terrible for the crystal tower replacement if true. The complete opposite kind of content for the type of players that did CT.
