Time Mage (Support Magic DPS class) with able to Slow Time, Haste+

Now this class would be amazing as Support Range Magic DPS and able to support raids (100% raid spots due to HASTE and slow)

Barring that Astrologian already has Gravity (and the dumbest pun in learning it) this would require Square to allow us to have some of the other spells you've mentioned. Slow only ever seems to be as a side effect and doesn't affect attack speed, only movement speed. Haste and a proper Slow seems strictly the purview of monsters and NPCs, like the Company chocobo. Meteor... is a mage limit break. The level 2 one I believe.

Slow most certainly does lower attack speed as it affects your recast. Heavy is what affects movement speed.

The devs have stated before that they do not want a Haste spell. I don't think they want one job having an ability that everyone would deem necessary all of the time. They like things to be more "balanced".

I think Astrologian already fits the Time Mage/Support role as much as we need it to. Time Mage would simply exist for nostalgia rather than being unique and useful.

This. Astrologian already is a time mage. ^^ Just look at their LB3 (Astral Stasis), Time Dilation, Lightspeed, even Celestial Opposition kinda fits.

Adding another time mage type job wouldn't be too unique. It could have worked as a base class for Astro, if they had one.
