We actually find out in the SMN questline that ascians are able to take over dead bodies, with the black masked ascians only being able to possess the dead, and the red masks being able to possess both living and dead (extrapolating on that part, as if the black masks can take over the dead, why would the higher powered/ranked red masked ascians not be able to?)

Interesting. I'd prefer it if they didn't go that route with Haurchefaunt. Not only do they kill him off and bring back another that I couldn't care less about, but to do this. You'd have to be GRR Martin cruel... but who knows? It would get a reaction out of people, not exactly a positive one though.

Yeah, tbh I'd rage so hard if they went that route (´＿｀。)ｸﾞｽﾝ That cutscene was heart-wrenching enough, anything more in that fashion to him would be cruel. (now they could bring him back another way, i'd be cool with that (　 `ω´)b) He was/is beloved, I think the uproar would be too great if they did go that route orz
