Example lets say i couldnt play 1 week to cap my esoterics due to irl stuff I should be able to catch up the week after by beeing able to cap my char to 900 as long as I have a subscription. Why isnt this possible since everything else is a handout pretty much?

If like this, I've just been on holiday for 2 weeks and only have about 80 ego for 2 weeks of lockout.

A cumulative cap has already been suggested several times, and usually without such passive-aggressive attitude. There is yet to be a statement about it, AFAIK. But I doubt it will happen.

They actually did say they would consider such a system in the future. Its not like its as simple as just flipping a switch.

They mentioned something about carrying over some of these weekly restrictions but I cant remember what it was they were going to carry over, I don't think it was tome's though. It was only going to be one extra week though if I remember correctly. I would be ok with this on ESO's as well, as long as they restrict it to a week or maybe two.

Don't worry, you'll be able to gather tomestones faster and buy every last piece of Esoteric gear in one week when it won't be relevant anymore.
