I don't think this game is for you OP. Why don't you just...idk...buy a tamagotchi?

I'm thinking you could also install The Sims (any version will do)

I think you're all being a little harsh on OP. "Go play The Sims" could be used to shoot down pretty much any housing idea.
You can grow carrots and raise chocobos, so why not babies?
One neat thing about implementing Babies would be we'd finally get to find out what the babies of the races look like.
I'd probably never use it but yes, Square, please add a Babies feature. You can call it "A Realm Newborn" or something.
wrong mmo for you want one that m rating. children require something that t rating mmo will not go
the big question that should ask to those who for this are live to much your time in fantasy world are able break your self away from this game to face reality. reality maybe give you all your want but isn't going be gone in 10 or 15 years. they really people out there that give you really children you might look for them before you lose your self to. and other question is what would the child doing would have it follow you around or go to school. what point is it have child then have it service no function
I have a husband and a toddler IRL. I also like that we can marry in-game AND the idea of a kid. It's kind of fun when they add layers to a game like that. I loved it in Skyrim; the DLC where you could build a house, you could also adopt a child.the big question that should ask to those who for this are live to much your time in fantasy world are able break your self away from this game to face reality. reality maybe give you all your want but isn't going be gone in 10 or 15 years. they really people out there that give you really children you might look for them before you lose your self to. and other question is what would the child doing would have it follow you around or go to school. what point is it have child then have it service no function
It could be just a vanity thing. I do all kinds of crazy crap to add realism to my home in-game. I just bought the oven, even though it only works up to 50, just for the illusion of a working kitchen.

Yes, I blew 1M gil on an outdated item just to make it look like I have a real kitchen. And it looks awesome.
Point is, why SHOULDN'T they add this? People who already spend a ton of time on the game are doing so for other things, and adding this little feature isn't going to make them throw their whole lives into the game. Some of us just like that touch of familiarity; I'd totally name the in-game kid after my actual kid, and this one wouldn't have diapers to change! And I don't play while she's awake anyway, so it's not like I'm going to be this horrible mother, nurturing my in-game child while my real one watches.
I promise you, this idea isn't as horrible and dire as you seem to think it will be.

the other question can miq'ue and huma produce children. some race aren't just able produce children with each other. I think you must think this by lore mean as well
Hybrids HAVE been tackled in the game. If you've at least gotten near the end of the new story quests, you've seen a cross between Hyur and Elezen. They basically put Elezen ears on a Hyur female. All these races are humanoid, so it's pretty reasonable that they could produce hybrids.
Easy enough to allow features of both in a character creation system (I'm thinking we'd design these much like we design our retainers).
Or, we could have an option to adopt, much like in Skyrim. Think about it. The Calamity was 5 years ago, and HAD to have orphaned quite a few children. Bunch of 5+ year old orphans needing homes.
