Thread: SP Post 1.19

For what it's worth, I think this is a huge step in the right direction. EXPing is now infinitely more accessible for anyone. For those of you who have been with these forums for a long time, think of how many threads you've seen come and go about people not knowing how to level up and being completely unable to do so. How many people have quit because of this? Probably alot. This is the first step to help alleviate such issues, and I for one am glad.

I did a google search for Final Abyssea and found no such game. I did the same for other search engines. Is it some secret game that only a few know about?

Dooo.. Final Fantasy XI after Abyssea came out. Was the biggest nerf ever and the early death for a great Game.

Early death? It's my understanding the game is still running, and still has quite a few people playing it.

Well no duh, I only had an 85 summoner. I found nothing wrong with Abyssea.

No exp still seems slow for the solo player. If you don't have some large group of people to kill mobs with the exp is not going to come fast. Since there is really no way to find other people since there is no LFG function. Exping solo is what you have to do a majority of the time.

As Spiritbond rate seems to be linked with SP, it's probably a good thing - will convert your gear that much faster

XP needs to be balanced some, yes. It will probably be done in 1.19a. So get all your DoW classes to 50 before then :P
