Yeah I'd say leave as is. Leveling shouldn't be hard, content is what should be hard.

Theyre prepping game for when cap is past 50. You think exp is too fast now: what about when they extend 50 to 75?
Stop Q_Qing over perfectly fine "working as intended" type mechanics.
This patch is epic. Period.
They intended for leveling to be quick. They want people to be able to actually do fun things with friends.
Plus, from what I've heard Spiritbond grows very slowly, so that's going to be a source of some serious grinding.
Then the curve should be adjusted accordingly at the time of the level cap raise.
I'd rather have leveling take longer but let the spiritbond grow a bit quicker.
Well the spiritbond is based off the xp you gaining so if you not gaining any xp it's going to be hard to get materia...those who are not at level 50 have a materia xp advantage.
Right and wrong. Ppl at 50 cap can still raise spiritbond. Did it last night at a quicker rate (more exp than a low rank party) with a party of 8. We werent lvling from the exp, but we were getting tons of exp and lvling fast. Every lvl can raise spiritbond.
Having not had chance to play since the patch I'm a little confused. On one hand I see people complaining that leveling is too slow now. On the other I see people complaining that we get too much EXP. Surely it can't be both.
Leve mob base SP went from 50 to 100 if anyone noticed.
Also there seems to be no reduction for lower level people in party anymore ("Bonus" totally removed)
This means a L50 can come and just destroy L40 mobs for a L20-30 and he will get full SP/Links/Chain bonus
That is the point Yoshi wanted, so people who friends just joined dont have to play/wait/chore out for a year just to catch up. Its win.
