    Eternal Bonding Housing/Personal housing

I have to preface this post by saying that space limitations will require me to reply to my own thread a couple times to fully explain things. Please bare with me ^^

Many players wish they had access to housing that is currently closed off. Also, many of the players who have undergone the Eternal Bonding have requested some kind of house sharing option. I want to propose my idea for satisfying both of these, and more, with one system.

    Instanced Eternal Bonding housing/Personal housing

How would it work? After players have undergone their Ceremony of Eternal Bonding, they may then purchase their own, instanced, marital home. Just like the Eternal Bonding requires both players to present items to finish the ceremony, both players will need to present an item to unlock their home.

This could be purchased in-game with Gil, or it could be made available on the Mog Station. These marital homes would allow for gardens, chocobo stables and furniture/furnishings just like current houses, and all things could be tended to by both bonded partners. Access to these instances would work exactly as access to any other house; You can set it as accessible by any anyone, or only the bonded partners to whom it belongs.

And hey, maybe this could even be something that could emulate a real marriage even further. Maybe the house can be gradually built up in size over time, and each new upgrade or stable or garden plot added would require both players to confirm and contribute to. (Just like FC crafting) If they players decide to divorce, the house goes away.

Why? Because players don't currently actually lose anything if they decide to divorce, and players who have invested themselves into this marital housing would have an extra reason to reconsider their decisions to divorce.

Where to place it? Each of the Housing neighborhoods have paths that dead end in a gate, with no label for what lies beyond. Make these gates the entrance to the instance.

What other benefits could this create? This could, potentially, help to alleviate the problem with limited housing. Players who purchase their own marital homes would have no need of personal houses, and this in turn would free more plots for those FCs that currently cannot purchase a home. Furthermore, by making these marital homes instanced, you would have no need for additional active servers to maintain them.

It might also be possible to use this idea for personal housing. Perhaps making Personal housing also instanced would completely free up the housing neighborhoods for use by FCs, and there would no longer be a need for additional housing wards?

Okay, that's all I've got for now, thank you for reading!
