    THIS WILL BE A HORSEY.

You're not alone, my BF and I both complain about healing this fight. TBH a lot of the difficulty comes from how competent the rest of your team is, because there's loads of damage to be avoided (and plenty that can't). If you can swing it, Adlo a DPS, use Deployment Tactics on them and get everybody that nice big shield before the stupid elf opens his dumb mouth and squeals about sickness needing to be purged. After that it's basically running from chains and horses.

I didn't notice any significant difficulty based on what healer was using... (on AST I actually found the last boss one of the easiest parts of the dungeon).

Anyway like others have said, if people avoid stuff there shouldn't be that much damage going out. Succor for Alter Pyre, Indom / Emergency+Succor after if necessary...single target on the tank...for the final phase when there are 2 sets of horse things don't forget the chain that comes out just after the second set starts moving. If you're not confident use Eos, but there's not much more to it. If people fail at dodging the horses Selene might be better for the AOE leeches so you can stay focused on healing though.

The amount of damage going out in this fight is really low people shouldn't be dying at all unless they are doing something really wrong. In DF you get a lot of people who wrongly feel it's the Healer's job to carry them through all damage while they face plant everything. For the majority of the time the Healer should be focused on only the Tank. If that's not happening the DPS are really bad.

Most Vault runs I barely need to throw a regen on any DPS.

The only banes of the fight is not being well-equipped (you can't deny being above i130 really starts being felt in the vault), lazy DPS that don't break chains with urgency, and tanks that take more damage than they should.

Sure helps if tanks turn their camera in an angle that allows them to proactively avoid horsies, since it's usually behind them instead of reacting too late. You can tell a good one from the baddies by the amount of damage (and any DoT) they take in that phase.

Put the boss on focus target so you know his attack patterns:
1 - "Heavensflame" or w/e the aoe circle he drops
2 - "Holy chain" links so you know to run to sides
3 - "Altar pyre" the room wide aoe. Helps to precast aoe/indomitability after it

Don't bother stoneskin mid fight, takes too long to cast plus scholar's adlo is better. Like someone said place Eos at mid where no party member is there much, so they don't drop aoe circle on her and kill her. Manually move your pet if need to.

After the fire balls phase, burn phase where he'll just repeat same pattern. He'll do altar pyre, heavensward 2x, and holy chain while 2 row of horses wall come down to mow your party. So you can time it nicely here to weave some aoe/single heals and make sure everyone top up before his next aoe/any attacks. The fight can be overwhelming if it's your 1st time, but once you learn his attack patterns and anticipate the damage, it's easy. Don't be discourage, keep going at it

Have succor up before party AoE.
Anticipate heals so you don't find yourself needlessly burning stacks with lustrate.
    Don't set faerie to auto.
    Use your cooldowns.
Make sure you are avoiding horses, ground aoes, etc

Sometimes though, there isn't anything you can do. If the tethers are never broken and party member can't seem to avoid avoidable dmg, there isn't much you can do to prevent the death of someone determined to die.

I always have Eos on Obey because as soon as fight starts she uses every single freakin cooldown. Selene however can manage herself so I leave her on Sic.

Even Selene I would practice on Obey. You can greatly increase her HPS with manual Embrace as well as choose not to blow her Fey Wind at the end of a pull or right before phase change downtime.

Yea I know. I usually just let her do what she like since I'm only running Vault (still level 58) but when I see a pull about to end I'll put her on Oney to prevent wasting Fey Wind.

I know this is slightly off topic, but please, for the love of god never ever ever use your faerie in Sic. Learn to control her properly so she doesn't waste CDs, and manual Embrace is one of the best things about playing SCH.
