Undersized parties don't allow relic progress?

Farming light for Novus stage in undersized party doesn't work. Tested it myself with a Sastasha run as a NIN with Yoshi novus equipped. Same with Zodiac lights.

But you can go in undersized party for books. You just have to equip your Atma weapons that's all. Tested with my NIN as well.

I don't know about Zodiac items though.

Zodiac Relic still happen. I did Halatali HM alone with SCH and I got the item from the boss.

It might have been bugged on my end, the only thing is I was switching between weapons during the run, but finished it with the relic on. Maybe when I get back home I'll run it again. So hopefully it was due to me switching around, though I remember when I finished my zeta I was able to switch from the relic to something else during the books and get credit as long as I had the relic equipped. Maybe this is what changed.

The 'dungeon' entries for the books are actually just monster kills - you get credit when you kill the boss of the dungeon with the relic equipped, and they'll even have the book target icon over their healthbar like the other enemies for books. You can do them undersized, as well.

Light farming definitely doesn't work with undersized, although they did double the rate of light gain (again) with 3.0.

Someone else will have to clarify if the Zodiac dungeon drops can be acquired with undersized - I'm not bothering with that until I have a -lot- more gil, and the only drop I did get so far was in HM roulette.

What not work in undersized party is light farming and spiritbounding.
