Then they should have those lines translated and posted here.
I'm getting sick and tired from the Japanese folks getting favoritism on everything, like the live letters, that's ignoring 70% if not more of the player base by not even providing a translator.
I'm getting sick and tired of English speaking posters coming over all paranoid and thinking that there is so very much going on in Japanese that they cannot ever know about and then feeling hard done by because of that. You're creating your own hard feelings on baseless assumptions you are making about something.
exept before we had a report of the intervention of the dev from the japanese forum, when was the last time it was posted? often they post it because player do it before. i'm sorry to say that dev talk on the jap forum and it did become quite impossible to have any of this information bring back to any other forum that a bad thing, the communication with the whole community have become extremely bad over the last years and needed to be adressed. if for you is being paranoid.... what you want i say.I'm getting sick and tired of English speaking posters coming over all paranoid and thinking that there is so very much going on in Japanese that they cannot ever know about and then feeling hard done by because of that. other point, it don't take them long to send feedback of the most talked subject on the english forum for get a quick answer.... it's not even the case anymore here. a lot of people say that the forum is bad because tons of subject is created, but believe me if the community manager was creating a subject for get a feedback it will be used, here people don't really use the search function and mostly only look the first page and since the english forum is used by the whole community (and not only the english/american people) you have a looooot of feedback there that are lost.
that don't take long to say: "the feedback was send to the dev. "
and if the dev have answer this: "here the answer the dev have give us on that matter."
it was done while the first years of ARR, but now.... is not the case anymore, they really need to work on the communication that have become quite bad, but i repeat myself there.
ps: people like to know that they was heard and before it reach 100+ page...

Live letters are getting translated last time i checked.
Community managers do post here but they get so drowned out by useless thread after thread they are hidden on god knows what page now.
don't begin me with the live letter it's a subject that anger me greatly, Square-Enix is a big company that have translator and probably people for do some subs... for a fansub translate and subs a movie of 1-2 hours can take less of 1-2 week.... for SE we don't even have the right to a subs anymore we get a post with the answer translated with a timecaps.
sorry it's far to be enough! some question wasn't even posted while the live letter, like the one about the ninja question that have mysteriously disappear. no, SE have restart to have a bad communication with the community outside japan and it's quite bad! we deserve more than a post on a forum! the live letter needed to be translate faster than 1 month (if not 2) after the live!! Yoshida when he did get at the direction of FF14 have said that communication needed to be enhanced, the trouble is the communication for the non japanese community is extremely bad. we are not second rate player, we are part of this community and deserve a better treatment!
the other reason is make value point i start play wow back in vanilla for my exp when with wow the devs start listen to those who whined the most instead ask people think where they going say then post it. I believe it important for both positive feedback and negative feedback but i also feel that player who make to much negative feedback this end up be whine and complain about how feature doesn't meet your standards. a video games is like book when it come to story it must be good. i feel players don't take time both positive and contrust negative feedback aren't help they case any
So either the forum devs didn't make a way for the community managers to sticky their stuff to the top of the forums or the community managers simply do not know how to do that. Communication issues like these should have been resolved in the first few weeks after release, not continue to persist for over two years.

Or people need to stop making stupid thread after stupid thread about the same subject.
This forum really needs some stricter rules like 1 thread per subject.
no stop there, it's the community manager and moderator jobs to create sticky thread for centralized information. not the player to bump a subject for keep it high. it wasn't hard to create a sticky, that have link for each translate live letter or info bring by the dev to the community.... but you know what? it was done, before! it's not done anymore!
feedback is feedback, if they think they don't need to make a change they simply need to say it, it take what? 5 minute to do it and explain the reason. one more time it was done before and not anymore.the other reason is make value point i start play wow back in vanilla for my exp when with wow the devs start listen to those who whined the most instead ask people think where they going say then post it. How many forums have you been on? There is idealism and then there is realism. Western forums get filled to the top with random threads no matter how well received the game. Star Citizen is a well loved project, but take a look at its forums. Nonsense threads pop up all the time, wasting space. Unlike SE, however, they sticky all their important announcements or put their feedback in a different sub forum.
