my Lalafell loses her voice when emoting with other players targeted

Steps:
1. Pick an emote that makes noise (eg., Huh, Surprised, Angry, Laugh, Chuckle, Cheer, Happy)
2. Target anybody but yourself
3. use the emote
4. The emote text appears in the log like normal, but no sound comes out

If I target myself, a minion, or have no target, it works like normal.
I can also hear other players' emotes targeting me without problem, just not my own targeting them.

edit: Friends confirmed theirs were working okay, so I'm not sure why mine aren't.
