So ... which company are u going as Pug?

as Pug guild is at uldah .. and company gears at Grid ..

I know bayohne has posted on the official forums that you don't need to worry about what gear is attached to what company and choose whichever you prefer, so i'm assuming down the road gear options will be balanced across the 3 companies. With that said I personally chose The Immortal Flames (Uldah) because Raubahn is a badass.

I went with the Flames for the same reason.

I've always been of the mind that Ul'dah was by far the coolest city. I already wanted to be in the Immortal Flames because of that, but then we have that rousing speech given in the Flames' quests and such, and there's just no question. Heck yeah, Immortal Flames!

Went to LL because the admiral was ten times awesome, Raubahn looks like a neanderthal and gridania is too full of hippies.

Not a single weapon in their grand company list for pug (yet) but I don't mind. You get the beastly gear from crafts/raids anyway and the red coat is just pure win.

I think I'll probably wind up with Gridania. I love all the trees & grass. It's by far my favorite city, just like Windurst was in FFXI. No one is ever there. It's sad, but I'd rather be among nature than stuck out in the desert.

Went Gridania myself. I like that Kan-E wants to unite the nations rather than have one take the glory for itself.

Joined The Order of the Twin Adder, simply because I enjoy Gridana. I just hate The Black Shroud. Also I'm in Ul'dah all the fucking time, I really want to get out when I can.

I didn't let the current company gear affect my decision to join Ul'dah. Since the Pugilist guild is there, I'm hopeful that better Pug items to show up there after awhile, most likely above the 50 cap.

Even if that doesn't happen, I'm glad I stayed with my starter city. Ul'dah is my kitty's home
