Dev. Request: Permanent Use for Raid loot

Hey dev team, please please can we have:

Furniture Item: Weapon Stands

What are we to do with the old weapons from coils and primals we worked hard to obtain (and soon to be Alex weapons)! At the moment they're just loitering around in our inventory taking up space but we're proud of obtaining them and want to show them off! I would like to see furniture where we can display a set of weapons for a given class. This would be class specific, so for a WHM it would be a rack where the staves stand up, for SMN it would be a table top bookshelf, etc. I guess you'd make it so that you can't place the item until x weapons have been configured to display in the stand and it would be untradeable/ unsellable so only the person who has the weapons can configure the stand and place it.

Like just about every other serious suggestion people have made, you'll be given that answer by the community until you're repeating "limitations" in your sleep. But push on! This is a good suggestion, even if there's an excuse for why we can't have it (and many other, even simpler things) around every corner.

There was mention of mannequins to display equipment last year and then complete silence on the subject ever since then. No idea what happened about it but there are dozens of housing features they've said they're working on that then just disappear like smoke.

To be fair, even if they're actually implementing only a fraction of the suggestions they get every day, keeping us up to date on every single one of them would end up being a project in and of itself.

Well, dunno what its like on your side of the planet, but down here, we understand that "we're working on something" isn't "its in the next patch"

Just because they have not told you every detail of every facet of every feature they may or may not be working on right now does not mean the feature wont exist down the line, nor does it mean they scrapped it immediately following saying "Hey we might do a thing".

People need to stop taking speculative "We might be able to do something like that" statements as ironclad guarantees.

@OP, I like it. Being able to show off the sort of gear my FC has acquired together would be rather nice.
To add my own suggestion to yours, Display Stands for Weapons, Mannequins for Armor and a specialized "Trophy Room" that functions like the Private Rooms to put it all in.
You'd still be able to put all the display stuff in the main house, but i think being able to buy a dedicated trophy room that FC members can add to with their own stuff would be neat, so its not just the FC Leader who needed to have gotten something nice in order to display it.

Aye I've noticed that, this very thing had been requested back in 2.2 with a response from the dev team as well and I've been intensley waiting for it ever since. Though I know they're super busy giving players other things that they want too!

It would be nice if raid gear can be used in 5 star crafting recipes as a mat to get a stronger gear.
Of course only possible if crafted yourself (because character bounded).

It can have the same ilevel like the original raid gear, but with materia slots (and dyeable) and still character bounded.
