Ley Lines will drop your fire III to under 3 seconds, so you won't get that 2nd tick of MP during its cast.So I'm still trying to wrap my head around what our current aoe rotation is. Fire 3, fire 2 x 2 flare, transpose repeat. Already if you cast fire 3 too quickly after mana regen tick I have found sometimes I dont even have enough mana for 1x fire 2, flare much less two. So do we wait an extra 2 seconds?
Using a blizzard II (or two) to get a 3rd Fire II in the rotation is a slight dps loss, which becomes a big dps loss under ley lines.
Lol yea I just got done messing around and had one instance where after blizzard 4 I still didnt have enough mana regen to fire 3 fire 2x2 flare so yea my logic was moot. Guess I just have to stand there a sec just like I do after flare out of fear of transposing into astral. Oh how the times have changed. Before: do it tank pull the room and lemme at em! Now: small pull please lemme blow em up 1 at a time lolMy no cooldown aoe rotation consist of fire III - fire II x3 - Flare - Transpose. Wait 0.5 after first mana tick - fire III - fire 2 x2 - flare. Repeat from transpose
I don't believe in blm's aoe anymore so more often than not, i single target kill pulls. unless there are 4-5+
Painfully obvious now that u mentioned it lol thx

Crunching the numbers it looks like it would be a decent dps boost to use double blizzard II if you were able to get off a 4th Fire II plus Flare. Unfortunately 1 PIE = 6.75 MP at 60, so that means adding on 125 PIE to a dunesfolk, a little more for other races.
For aoe I just do thunder 1 on all target do single rotation an span thunder proc.. Lol easier for me an trash goes down way quicker imo..
