They went the right way with having crafters make fun/glamour/non-essential gear like minions and furniture. However, they then limited the market extensively by having overpriced and underavailable housing.

Many of the things that should keep crafters and gatherers busy throughout patches has been greatly affected by things like this. I had hoped Airships would require teams if crafters all making things to put together in the home but it takes one person to click a button whilst three people stand and watch. Also, they limited it to FCs. Imagine if all households could become airship manufacturers & make, repair & upgrade personal airships for everyone?

So much potential, so little enthusiasm.
