The event is a little light, but I also think that has to do with everyone on the team taking a break.. which is fine with me.
It's a nice breather between gathering red scrips and esoteric tomes.
Me too... want fried fish so bad now.
Squeenix send me some, please.

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.
Glamour is TRUE ENDGAME
Am I the only one who see the picture of battered fish looks real (Like, irl)?
Event honestly is a bit dull. Got bored with it extremely quick once I got my Trunks.
Loving the dance line that started up tonight on Ultros. The event is underwhelming though, honestly, but I still enjoy being able to get all the items from last year on some of my newer characters, so I can't complain too much.
The only problem I have is well.
The quest givers. :| Why can't I just turn in the 50 something I have instead of doing it every single time. The majority of my time is taken up by turning in the things, takes me just as long to make that much battered fish! lol
This event is worse than last years moonfire faire but, I do like how they try to change it every year instead of rehashing the same things over and over. Sure it makes all the events hit or miss but, that's still better than constant repetition. Only thing I wish they'd change about seasonal events is that they spread them out more evenly through out the year. There isn't any seasonals after the Easter one in April to the Moonfire Faire in August. It would be nice if they included a seasonal or two in that gap. I think a seasonal once a month would be ideal instead of them being heavily clustered in the fall and winter months.
FF11 did have the Festival of Swords during the summer, which involved carefully smacking a mob with wooden samurai swords. I guess we won't get that anytime soon tho, as folks would think the job must be coming out if we have the swords. There isn't any seasonals after the Easter one in April to the Moonfire Faire in August. Something to bear in mind: the Two Year Anniversary event is likely starting next week. The Moonfire Faire was probably smaller because they're also working on another event to start immediately after this one as they did last year.
The Moonfire Faire has always been my favourite event.
I've been loving the beach activity. It's like a huge outdoor party and it's a blast!

I like it, honestly. Plenty of items to be had instead of the obnoxious ACCESSORY AND A HOUSING ITEM nonsense, the quest line was quick and to the point, and there were things every class could do to get tokens - I even went and dusted off my scrubby Botanist!
