Voice acting not present when rewatching cutscenes in the inn?

Just went to rewatch some of the Heavensward cutscenes, and I am getting this strange bug where no character voices are being played. I am not sure if this affects the main story as you are doing it, but it sure would suck for new people going through Heavensward to have to view some of the important cutscenes without the intended voice audio. Anyone else having this bug?

I have no experience with this bug, but a friend in my Company had something similar. During his entire ARR career most cut scenes had no voice overs. Its only been since Heavensward that his game played the voice overs (At least he doesn't have to go through the shock of new voice actors like the rest of us!). We suspected that something may have happened during installation and that a reinstall might help, but I don't believe he ever tested that theory.

That's odd. I never uninstalled the game and had voice overs through the whole story when I first played it. Just now getting this bug.

Check you haven't accidentally displayed voices in the game settings. Double check that scene is actually voiced by watching it on Youtube. I know that seems stupidly obvious but I don't know what else to suggest. it could be a bug but it's not one I have come across.

If Akira's steps do show that it should be voiced, then submit a report on the Bug Report forum. They don't look here for game bugs.

This happened to me in like 1/4 into Heavensward where I though there was no voice acting for Cutscenes. I didn't realize it right away because in-game battle voices would still play. I traced it down to my Sound Card which had inadvertently lower the vocals in audio.

It's a scene that I know was voiced. Without saying too much, it was one of the scenes involving Haurchefant.

I reset the equalizer and redid the levels of audio.

Yeah make sure theyre supposed to be voiced. Id say about half the cutscenes in Heavensward arent.
