    Some weird names for items

I noticed that around levels 20-30 there are various helmets called "Elmos". I googled "Elmo" and looked it up in various web dictionaries and there is nothing out there that tells me elmo is any kind of helmet.

Did they make this up or something? It's no different then calling a certain type of a helmet a George. Anyone have an explanation for this?

False. Elmo is a Sesame Street character and the helmets are named in his honor.

Elmo is portuguese for helmet (and looks like a lot of other languages too).

"Dreadwyrm Tonban of Healing", what's 'tonban'? All tonbans via google search are related only to this game's pants.

"It is not entirely clear what a tonban is nor where its origin lies. One likely explanation is that it's a type of clothing worn in Afghanistan. A pirhan tonban (according to one source) is a long, loose skirt formerly worn by women, but now traditional male clothing. It is also called a shalwar kameez and consists of baggy trousers and a long shirt. In addition to men, the tonban is comfortable and popular with many women working in Afghanistan."

Pretty sure that this is supposed to alude to chiggers, a type of mite.

FFXI had "Chigoe", for the same reason.
