Is anyone else experiencing bad lag? I play several different games but FFXIV is the only one since I returned last month that has serious lag issues.

ewe... one of their divisions peers mostly with Verizon and Level3 (mostly only IP addresses starting with 74). Depending on which division you are with, you may have some routing issues between your local market and Montreal. Would need to get a good look at the route to see for certain (either do some digging yourself with some tracerts and such, or push for your ISP's Tier3 support team).

Alot of ppl have been experiencing lag with this game lately (see the 'throttling' thread and others)

I'm with a different service provider and have been experiencing severe lag, mostly during the day, since xpac came out. Been trying stuff to possibly help get rid of the lag, but no luck. Not yet anyway.....if ever.

I'm on PS4, and like you said, Final Fantasy XIV is the only thing on my network that is giving me problems with lag.

...and it may be the only service you are trying to use out of Montreal as well.

Even if that's true...I haven't always had this problem, not sure about the op. Anyhow, still trying to get it alleviated.
