I was just one the phone with Square-Enix NA support and they were unable to make any real suggestions about fixing my problem.

I JUST decided to upgrade to Windows 10 today (after delaying more than a month for just this reason) because I have read a lot of good commentary on WIN10 installation and FFXIV compatibility - namely that some people were having issues, but they were mostly solved by driver updates or running as Admin / running with Compatibility Mode.

I am not getting a specific Error Code, it's just a "Program Stopped Working" message and then the launcher shuts down. (To be specific: Launcher opens fine, I type in my SE-ID, my password, and my One Time Password - everything good so far - the green Play button appears, I click, BAM - Stopped Responding.)

Things I have tried so far:
* Disabling Windows Firewall (only)
* Disabling Windows Defender (only)
* Disabling both Windows Firewall and Windows Defender (simultaneously)
* Clean Boot with startup programs disabled (suggested by Square-Enix staff; failed)
* Running as Administrator
* Running with Windows 7 Compatibility
* Running with Windows 8 Compatibility
* Running as Administrator WITH WIN7 compatibility, simultaneous
* Running as Administrator WITH WIN8 compatibility, simultaneous

None of these has worked. Anyone else gotten their XIV working in similar conditions? Really don't want to have to do a WIN7 roll-back or "wait and see" til Square has "Official WIN10 Support" =/ It's been 6 weeks since the full version has been public now...
