The forums are littered with threads like this. You could've browsed a bit instead of opening a new thread. ^^
Check this thread. It has very useful tips in the replies.
All three tanks follow the same basic mind-set: Keep aggro, position facing away from group and don't die. From there try to DPS.
DRK has no fixed rotation, it's literally keep MP floating around 50% using Siphon Strike combos and use your oGCDs as they come up.
Use your CDs when you are about to take heavy damage.
The forums are literally filled with guides about tanking. Check them out.
That's all comes to mind. I'll edit if something pops to mind.
Do you have Gladiator to 22 for Provoke?
If not, then do that first before thinking about playing DRK seriously.
As for stat allocation, put everything into STR. If you are ever in a situation where you need more HP (e.g. bad healer in DF), putting on some Fending accessories can cover that.

I am a Warrior Lv.60, but Tanking starts with Gladiator (GLD)..
Try to play Gladiator to Lv.22 for cross-skill 'Provoke', and while you're at it, run all dungeons which you can, Sastasha, Deepcroft, Copperbell, and Halatali. If you like it and get control of it, Go DRK to Lv.60.
Being a Tank is different than being Lv.60 WAR/PLD/DRK. The first is real deal, the latter just fancy holding (shield'n'sword / battleaxe / 2Hand sword).
