    When the game wouldn't run on Windows 10 for me initially I opened up Nvidea control panel and found a driver update for Windows 10. It immediately fixed the issue.

    It's advisable to update ALL your drivers - your motherboard chipset, the ethernet adapter, ... etc. <garyoldmanvoice>EVERYTHING</garyoldmanvoice> - before freaking out.
