Why are Australia and New Zealand always left out of competitions?

I was so excited the other day to see the hairstyle competition and eagerly started planning some ideas of what I would submit... until a fellow FC member of mine pointed out that, yet again, entries to the competition are not being accepted by players from AUS/NZ

I realise that there are laws regarding competitions, but would it really be so difficult to include more than UK/Spain/France/Germany in the competition? It's frustrating enough we get overlooked in everything else (pay in euro not AUD/NZD... cant get merchandise as EU store wont ship to AUS/NZ, get shafted with CE copies, etc) but with exclusive items being put on offer to only a select group of players in an otherwise huge region (europe and other countries - IE what used to be PAL), it's bordering on discrimination.

Why should it be that we are never able obtain these items competition items simply because we don't live in those 4 countries? I have some amazing ideas that I always want to contribute for these competitions but get denied because I live outside Europe/USA/Japan...

Could a separate competition be held for other regions outside of UK/Spain/France/Germany? Or could more countries be added to the list please? There are SOO many amazing ideas out there in the world that will never be realised because of such strict restrictions on who can enter based on what country they are from
