Oh he can solo i have no issue with that but soloing should not be faster at level then party hands down. Top of that i only mad at solo when you ask them to join your party to get more exp and fast kills they say no. I thought there issue was they can't find a party? even if you can only play for 15 more min still join my party and get good exp.

I for one don't get a lot of time to play because of having a family and 2 small kids and 2 jobs, but I'm glad that this patch came out and I don't get why everyone is so pissed about it. I solo most of the time, and true before you could level fast but it made the game seem so easy. After dieing a couple times and adjusting to the patch with the right setup I can get exp chains x2 and 3 on the regular soloing. Plus its nice to actually have some strategy in the fights now instead of spamming actions. Just give it a chance and adjust you play style instead of being crouchity stuck in your ways and complaining. If you really are that upset by it move on to something else

but i thought you just want to get 50 and do dungeon and stuff? and level is boring is something you just do to get there and should not be a time sink just get 50 and you get 50 without issue or is that also boring? i mean i don't understand how do you want the level going without a time sink? but still be fun? i mean you can solo get good exp or party get better exp or get a powerlevel and get 50 quicker.

Yeah, not digging the leveling changes. Combat takes longer for fewer rewards. You end up with less hp and mp leftover after a fight, which makes exp chains difficult to get, and because you can't get chains unless you fight stuff your level or higher, you're pretty much screwed if you want to do this solo. I'm with Pyrix and Drust on this one.

Though I do find it funny people are abusing mob links to get exp now. Probably not what SE intended. Hopefully SE will scale back these changes in 1.19a after player feedback. Leveling was fine before 1.19, but now it's no fun. But at least they fixed up the synthing, so I guess I'll spend time on that side instead of trying to beat the current exp system.
