Brayflox Alltalks, Quickthinks Allthoughts, Cheese, and Alexander

On the topic of naming conventions, I think it might be something akin to given titles. Kind of like every goblin has a forename given at birth but maybe also a surname given by others. Might also be different depending on the goblin.

Brayflox might be Brayflox Alltalks to some, but maybe to her parents she's Brayflox Tricksytalks for all the lies she told as a child, or maybe Brayflox Dustytalks because of that one time she got dirt in her mask and it made her sound all squeaky.

Would also explain why they have surnames based on what they do, considering other goblins would be the ones naming them. Mutamix Bubblypots might be Mutamix Eyeembiggener to some or Mutamix Atmamakes to Jalzahn. Same name, slightly differing title based on the observer.

Here's what I think about Brayflox's name.

Brayflox to me could mean Brave. Brayve. Alltalks is that she's all talk. She acts all big and bad, but when she sees any resistance, she runs away or has someone else do the work for her. So she thinks she's brave and fearless, but really she's just all talk.

I agree with what Anonymoose said in the second post, to the extent that I obliviously repeated what he said.

It seems the Illuminati found in the Hinterlands have their own naming quirk. Quickthinx Allthoughts, Slipkinx Steeljoints, Moundrinx Eightclinks. There's a distinct difference from the familiar -ix and -ox suffixes. Hopefully the upcoming lore panels during the Anniversary event and PAX East will touch upon Goblin naming conventions!
