This little spot in the Foundary is just begging to be an acceptable locale for 1v1 duels. Make it happen SE.
Also, Ul'dahs Blood Sands would make an excellent alternative to the Wolves Den for 4v4. The scenery is getting old, as am I sitting in the queue for that, lol

I thought so as well, and I wondered if that's its intended purpose in a future update... it could allow for spectated instances battles for people on the same server. It seems perfectly designed for that, I mean why else make it instances, with a large ring for spectators who are also unable to jump into the inner circle?

I hope this doesn't end up being for something really stupid instead. What if it actually was for chocobo fighting, considering the horrors of the industry related to animal fights (cockfights, dog fights, etc) that would be a hell of a faux pas and just not as interesting anyway.

Interesting idea if they convert it to a real PVP arena.
I really thought it WAS going to be chocobo fighting (or some new layer to the train/grind system already in place). Maybe it won't be after all!

You know what else would make a cool arena? That courtroom fight in the Heavensward MSQ where you fight the 2 Knights of the Round. Really simple square arena where you did 2v2. Why not reuse it for PVP 2v2?

In the quest that brought me there (never would have found it otherwise, and it was a few weeks after HW because I waited until I needed another Thav Onion) I remember an NPC alluding to its being sometimes used for 'other purposes' which had me thinking about battles. Hopefully the 'other purposes' aren't for something else entirely that's cash shop related lol.

The other use I would like for this arena would be if it was a place RMT bots would get transported to and fed to ravenous animals, dying painful gruesome Rated M deaths while we partied like it was AD 0099.
