Please make cash shop items unlock account wide

It would be really nice for cash shop purchases to be used account wide, instead of just per character. This is how most other P2P mmos do cash shops if they do. Buying it per character is kind of... Well it really turns me off from wanting to buy anything since I like to play multiple characters (for RP mostly), but having to spend 8x the amount to get it on all of my characters is a bit discouraging for me to want to buy anything.

Interestingly, they do this for Veteran rewards and for items redeemed from a code. Any new character I make comes with a brand new Moogle Suit to run around in, since my entire account was flagged for fan fest. Same with the Bahamut Moon minion from purchasing the sound track.

So they have the code in place to send items to all characters, even ones not yet created, on an account.

They're probably reluctant to do it this way because there is someone who will spend 8x the money to get a cash shop item on all 8 characters. $$$

True, but on the flipside it is turning away people like me who is not really wanting to buy it since I will not get it on all characters. I am not sure how many of those there are like me out there, but it cannot just be me >__<

You can't trade them but you can still "sell" them to other players.

I can confirm at least for this item, that the Slephnir Mount is account wide. Every alt. I've made and will make always continues to have that mount in my mog mail waiting for me.

The consumables like dye or fantasia would obviously be single character, but the minions and possibly the glamours should be account wide like the mount.

Though I can see not doing glamours, because unlike the minion, a specific item can be for a specific gender etc.

Yes but you can swap it for the right gender at the calamity salvager
