We're up to 23 threads of recruitment codes and most have people spamming the same posts to multiple threads. It's becoming nearly impossible to use this forum for it's stated purpose of actually helping new players who have questions about the game.

Please lock all but one of these threads. Having one of them is fine. It's a perfectly valid topic. But it's ONE topic, not twenty-three topics. Spamming is supposed to be against the forum guidelines, and when it reaches this level where it obstructs the forum from its primary purpose, it's time to enforce that.

Agreed. Using one or two threads to fill with recruitment codes is one thing, but a new thread for every code a whole another.
I understand people want to get the Friend Recruitment items, I was just as guilty of it. But for the love of god, this is ridiculous.

I have to agree that it is getting out of hand. I know I'm guilty of contributing to the issue by making a thread due to my codes being buried, but I've already let that thread die, and would quite happily delete it if i had the option to do so. I will restrain my code postings to the thread with around 147 pages.

I think some people are so consumed by the desire to have Twintania, that they're forgetting the true purpose of this forum. I hope they come to their senses soon, or that the moderators do indeed step up to merge all of the recruitment threads.

Agree. No need for more than 1 megathread... 2 or 3 isn't too bad. But currently it's spamming out other threads.

I vote to have them all merged into 1 thread.

This is going to sound very innovative and revolutionary so listen close. but... We can give feedback to Square. Sometimes it affects their decisions, both about the various web features and the game itself.

Keep a close eye on the forums and you'll notice both threads and individual posts disappear. Sometimes threads get locked. And so on.

I actually brought it up to them earlier and gave some suggestions. No response so far and no action taken. I guess the moderators are fine with so many thread duplicates filling up the new player section.
