    Raiding etiquette and expectations.

    Hello all,
I was wondering ,What social or group etiquette should I expect once I get closer to and once I hit endgame content? Also What would groups expect of me, apart from my "Job" dps'ing etc. I would like to know what some of you expect , hate and want of players.

I am a old raiding vet from that other mmo ,that wants to get back into a casual raid scene and being a new player I don't want to be "that guy" and give a bad impression early on. I feel I have been doing well in low lvl groups and the commendations are popping up at a good rate but I know raiding is a different creature and I would like to keep Raid leads from having to many headaches.

Thank you for taking the time to read through the new player help forums to get us Green's going.

If you are joining a static then I suggest asking them how they llike to do things. Everyone handles things differently.

If you pug however then you will run into all kinds of people.
Some expect you to know the strat before you enter, some are more than happy to explain it to you.
If you want to learn by doing you can always create a blind group in PF. But if the content is old then don't expect much of a support.
As in how to play your job it's really something you should learn from the class board of this forum as it's quite extensive. Although I expect you know the gist of it at 60 anyway.

Just know that some jobs can help on more than dps that might not be needed until raids.
Smn for example got eye for an eye, virus and resurrection. Blm might be asked to use lethargy on some fights etc.

It's generally the same as normal parties except for some things:
    1. more people
    2. don't flame people or start fights or anything like that or you may be replaced very easily (that's a given though in all parties)

    most parties expect:
    1. you to know your class and how to play it
2.you to know the mechanics of the bosses/you having read guides on harder raids like alexander/alexander savage/bismarck, ravana
3.if you're a healer or have a healing class they'll expect you in end game raids to be able to know to how heal and dps without dpsing too much that you forget to heal
    4. have the minimum gear requirement atleast
    5. if you're in a hardcore static raid team they'll most likely expect you to know your class in and out including proper rotation
    6. raid groups such as alexander/alexander savage will expect you to have above ilv requirements, alex savage would be ilv 190/200(estorics) and regular alexander would expect you to have ilv 180 armors/accessories and an ilv 190/200 weapon (Ravana drop or estorics)
    7. if you're in a random group like just one in party finder or duty finder, people will expect you to speak up if you don't know the content so they can explain it to you(most people will explain it even if you read a guide)
