A1 savage is a dps check
A2 savage is a dps check
A3 savage some mechanics still a dps check
A4 savage who knows no one has beaten it. (safe bet is its a dps check)

The current endgame content is definitely a dps check.

That being said, it would be cool to see some customization at least in the way of cosmetic. I would like to be able to add fire or a green poison effect to all my attacks.

    Yes, and it's lame..
Because it 1) makes underperfoming not optimal jobs discriminated, even if the player is very good and 2) won't hold any value once everybody has far better gear.

In 6 months, I'm sure more people will have clear A1S than T9.

I don't want to deal with skill trees. There is my reason for being against it.

You can just surf the net, learn what is the "best" skill tree, and follow it, no questions asked.
    No headache guaranted.

Would rather not see it at all and get new jobs. Just trying to give you a reason most people do not want it. You seem pretty outnumbered.

That's soooo stupid. It's not a choice then. It becomes mandatory to have this build or you're getting the boot. Why even bother having a skill tree in the first place if everyone will once again have the exact same builds.

I still think adding only visual customizatations to our skills would be the way to go. That way there is no balance issue, and everyone can feel unique.

If treated like crafting were it playing catch up I can see it work that way new content would be locked for customization builds whatever that entails. The older content is unlocked after newer content is released or couple patch afterwards. We already have rules in duty finder now were we can enter uncapped and do older content already breaking the balance anyways, can have rules set in place were new content keeps it balance currently or players first time running content it locked until you've completed to unlock it or not. /shrug just my opinion at least giving an option how to treat it I'm sure people will disagree with method of course

Rafflesia's honey bees were a DPS check.

Your ignorance as to what is a DPS check is astounding to say the least.

Can't argue with A1 being a dps check, I would say A2 is more of a heal and tank check, hitting the required DPS isn't so hard...but have you been into A3? Yeah there are dps checks there, but there are also a hell of a lot of mechanics, more so than I've seen in previous raids.
