K nvm Problem solved, I disabled windows system fonts like Zarcon suggested and it fixed the problem. Thank you Zarcon

Ummm have any of you also tried to check your video card drivers? A few of our LS members had similar issues. One who had a Nvidia card was crashing when trying to open maps; resolution, update to newest driver. The other this weekend had an ATI card, issue, game crashed during only one specific leave. The lettuce one in LL with Dodos, can't remember the full name. Anyway, I had him roll back his drivers as ATI usually WILL jack up FF games and rolling them back fixed that issue.

Thanks everyone^^. Well it might be a minor cause, because it only happens on certain settings on the configuration.

Problem: The game client crashes when it tries to load up the "text" description on some Maps and Weapons.

Cause: When changing the default fonts to any Windows system fonts, causes the game to crash. Changing language other than English when using Windows fonts, will not cause the game to crash.

Workaround: Setting to use to default font (uncheck box) instead of Windows system fonts will sort it out.

Hopefully this info. can reach the Devs.

Sadly some of us have problems with Recast Timers, Casting bar and time remaining of status effects when using default font, so we have to choose between recast or some game crashes.

I had an issue with my client crashing whenever i equipped,synthed,checked someone wearing a cane/staff it turned out it was because of my font seeting i changed it from default when i changed it back it fixed everything. Give this a try if u changed it in config go back to default setting not windows setting. Props to Solace for giving me the suggestion.
