    When a Great Dragon dies

I was watching a show on twitch when the subject of Great Dragons brought up and it got me thinking: Where do Great Dragons go to when they die?

From Tiomat, we learn that Midgardsomnr and his children aren't from Hydaelyn. We know when when anything dies their aether goes back to the lifestream ... but what about the Great Dragons? They're not off this world, after all.

It was theorized that since they can't go into Hydaelyn's Lifestream their aether spreads to the land and form over aspected/ corrupted crystals. Or at the very least their "blood" do.

    1. If you look closely at Tiamat, you can see the area surrounding her is full of lighting crystals. If you look closer you see she has crystals forming at her mouth and on the places where she's been pierced.

    2. Tharl Oom Kash - place where Ratatoskr was killed - is filled with corrupted lighting crystals. I suspect that the Aery might have been pulled from Tharl Oom Kash and made as a liar for Nidhogg

    3. The area where Bahamut's body parts have been strewn about is filled with crystals ... granted he was a Primal

    4. Lastly, tying everything else is Mor Dhona. If the death of Great Wyrms can cause crystals to be created just imagine what the most powerful of the Great Wyrm's death will do to the environment? Thus Mor Dhona became what it was.
