Light Farming 3.0?

So I know that Unsynched / Undersized parties dont' give light.

Does expert roulette (60) give light?

Does anyone know any good ways to farm light atm? Seeing as there are no longer lines of teams waiting in PF to farm out light, my friend and I are finding ourselves a little daunted by the grind ahead in this step.

I just finished grinding Light on my Novus and got the last 400 or so through a mixture of farming Primals who were Bright, and running FATEs in Middle La Noscea after I read that it was a good farming area while waiting for queues.

I can't give the best advice as I am not farming light right now. But, high roulette, most of leveling roulette, story roulette, and most of trial roulette should give light. Other than that, my advice is still to queue into garuda hard or one of the last 2.x dungeons and wait for the roulette to place people with you. I have friends that is in a similar boat. I tank and we just run garuda hard or other hard trials a ton. It is definitely slower now though. Well slower but when you get light you get more light than before so it kinda balances out. Light is a horrible phase in general.

My best advice is (unless one of the whole reddit light tracker thingies are still being maintained) just queue for Garuda HM every so often (preferably near the start of a 2 hour window)

If you don't get a relatively quick queue, chances are it doesn't have a bonus right now, and that is why it's barely being run.

AFAIK the only HW stuff that gives lights still are the FATEs, and that was more than likely a result of copy-pasted programming rather than anything specifically intended.
