Was there really a need to make leves harder?

Seirously..leves I used to do in bw and halatali at 3 stars solo at rank 43 with my pug are suddenly impossible at that rank and even when doing em at a lower rank it takes FOREVER to get them done..

Wasn't the whole "stars" thing for parties. Like 3 stars you should have 3 people help you. It was just flawed before to the point where you could do some at 3 stars no problem. Now with the new changes in this patch you actually need what was intended.

So you're fine with the idea of soloing leves with a 5 star rank labeled "Legion"? You find nothing wrong with that? I absolutely welcome the challenge and it makes doing leves much more fun instead of soloing all of them myself with ease.

Well, in case you missed the memo of 1.18, leves are suspost to be solo. It was mentioned as such by Yoshida. It was more of a wonder why they didn't change the difficulty names to match their intended direction. It seems like they ended up changing their minds however.

I haven't done any leves yet, been doing other quest. gonna see how much harder they are myself.

Mobs give a lot more exp now but strength is more appropriate for their levels.

Apparently "3" means "5" to you.

I couldnt do 5 before and IM not even gotta bother trying now, leves were oriented for SOLOING. Or did you also lose the ability to read?

While I like a challenge I dont want to have an epic life or death situation fighting a single dodo... thats better left for NMs and Dungeon bosses...not random leves meant for the players that cant afford to be looking for parties for hours in uldah while shouting their job and rank in HOPES of someone needing him.

I tried doing a company leve twice today. It was marked r40 and me being an r36 ARC I figured I'd at least be able to 1 star it... It turned out to be a nasty joke by SE seeing as how I couldn't even solo one of the mobs in a direct 1v1 and the leve spawns about 6+ of them and specifically states "solo only". I guess SE pulled a fast one on us making leves this hard.
